Synopsis

The speeding tram fiercely crashed into college student Kiyoshi Ueno (played by Kazunari Ninomiya) and his middle school friend Katsutaka Kato (played by Kenichi Matsuyama), but they seemed to vanish into thin air, their fates unknown. Reporter Kikuji (played by Haruhiko Katō) witnessed this scene through surveillance footage and became highly interested in the series of disappearances and bombings in Tokyo, prompting him to launch an independent investigation. A mysterious person online continuously updates the secrets behind these cases, and Kikuji gradually learns about the existence of Gantz. He focuses on high school student Nishi (played by Kanata Hongo), beautiful Kishi (played by Natsuna), and middle-aged man Suzuki (played by Tomorowo Taguchi). Through his investigation, the real sides of these participants in the killing games begin to be revealed. Meanwhile, danger slowly approaches Kikuji...
