SPEC: Zero

In 2009, one year before the meeting of Asa Taima (played by Erika Toda) and Benryu Sefumi (played by Ryo Kase). After returning from studying at the FBI in the United States, Taima was assigned to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Public Security Bureau, specifically the Special Measures Section for Unresolved Cases of the Fifth Division, under the direct leadership of Section Chief Kotaro Nonomura. Shortly before, several high-ranking executives of a major oil company had been murdered, with the hearts of all the victims leaving clear signs of being squeezed by hand. It was evident that this series of events was closely related to the so-called SPEC holders. Meanwhile, the oil executive Diablo (played by Ren Osugi) hired the mysterious SPEC holder named Ichiichi (played by Ryunosuke Kamiki) with a high salary, attempting to stop the enigmatic SPEC killer. Ichiichi, a troublesome adversary who would later have an inexplicable connection with Taima and Sefumi, regarded Taima as the bomb girl responsible for the death of his parents, and subsequently killed Taima's friend Nancy whom she met in the United States. This is how the grand saga of SPEC begins, and significant events that would determine the fate of the world enter a countdown...
