A shocking murder case hides unspeakable criminal transactions. A greed-driven crazy plan unveils the mysterious puppet master behind it all... In Ninghai City, there has been a major poisoning death case, and Mayor Fu personally visits the crime scene, ordering the police to swiftly launch an investigation. Team leader Ning Bo is tasked with investigating this poisoning case. Various signs indicate that this case is significantly connected to a man named Cheng Jiang (played by Sun Honglei). To cover up the truth, Cheng Jiang complicates the investigation using mafia tactics such as threats and bribery. Meanwhile, the true mastermind behind the scenes, Cheng Jiang's brother Cheng Hao (played by Hu Jun), is executing a long-planned mad scheme. Using the guise of Shixin Company, Cheng Hao aims to take hold of Ninghai City's billion-dollar bidding project. To achieve his goals, he ensnares Mayor Fu (played by Gao Ming) in a “seduction trap,” and employs despicable means to force team leader Ning Bo into suspension. Despite the hardships and dangers, Ning Bo resolutely engages in a deadly struggle against the evil forces...
