Synopsis

Life is a meaningless repetition for small employee Wesley (played by James McAvoy), who endures his overweight boss's nagging every day, sees his friend sleeping with his girlfriend, and constantly takes medication to control his racing heart. One day, he is rescued by a mysterious woman from the pursuit of a mad gunman and enters the world of the assassin's guild. His savior, Fox (played by Angelina Jolie), and the guild leader Sloan (played by Morgan Freeman) inform Wesley that his father, who abandoned him years ago, was also a member of the organization and was recently killed by the traitor Cross. Wesley must quickly grow through rigorous training to protect himself and possibly take revenge for his father.
