Bomb Disposal Expert

Zhang Zai Shan (played by Andy Lau) is a senior inspector in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau of the Hong Kong police. Seven years ago, he went undercover in the criminal gang of the number one wanted criminal, Huo Bao (played by Jiang Wu). During a heist at a bank, Zhang Zai Shan revealed his identity as an undercover bomb disposal expert and, together with the police, successfully prevented the bomb from detonating and captured Huo Bao and his gangsters. Unfortunately, in a critical moment, Huo Bao managed to escape and vowed revenge. After returning to duty, Zhang Zai Shan was quickly promoted to a bomb disposal expert in the police force. Seven years later, Hong Kong is experiencing a series of bombing terrorist attacks, and the police received intelligence that a large amount of explosives had been smuggled into the city, indicating that a major incident is about to occur. Amidst the panic of the Hong Kong people, the busy Hung Hom Cross-Harbour Tunnel is blocked by vicious criminals, taking hundreds of hostages, and the now revealed Huo Bao threatens to blow up the tunnel. Zhang Zai Shan knows that he must bring Huo Bao to justice to dismantle the shocking conspiracy behind this anti-terrorism storm.
