Synopsis

In the distant future, extreme climate conditions have caused most of the land to be submerged, and the survivors have established the city of Wuji on the only small pieces of land left. To survive, pirates, coast guards, and wanderers at sea must embark on a quest to find new lands, marking the beginning of a new age of exploration. After a sudden pirate fleet attack, the Wuji city coast guard unexpectedly acquires a treasure map related to the 'New Lands'. Due to treacherous sea routes, the deep-sea giant beast 'Lantern Ghost King' resides in the 'Dead Sea Area' of the doldrums, forcing the coast guard 'Luo Li' to release the imprisoned sea linguist 'Hai Ji', who can hear the voices of all living things.
