Cheng Xi (played by Pan Yueming)'s daughter is kidnapped because her father (played by Hou Yong) holds the secret of the imperial seal. The international cultural relic crime boss only gives Cheng Xi 20 hours, or else he will kill her. Criminal police officer Mei Jia (played by Hu Ke) and Japanese history expert Ono Linzi (played by Yi Nengjing) get involved in the investigation. She is shocked to discover that Cheng Xi is actually her lover from many years ago, which complicates her emotions, but her identity as a police officer keeps her feelings in check. Following this, a series of royal artifacts from 600 years ago appear, from the disappearance of Ming Emperor Zhu Yunwen, to the founding imperial seal of Zhu Yuanzhang, and to Qixia Temple and Ming Xiaoling. Cheng Xi is pushed towards an abyss of no return by an invisible dark hand. Mei Jia traces the clues and prepares to make an arrest as the time limit set by the kidnappers approaches. Mei Jia arrives at Ming Xiaoling for the hostage exchange, where a shocking conspiracy is about to be unveiled...
