Synopsis

"Hot Blood" is set in the "Wanjichang Hotel" located on the Busan dock - "Jiuyan", telling the story of a crime organization. Jung Woo plays the role of Xi Xu, the sibling of Song Yong-gam, the ruler of the "Wanjichang Hotel" and the thug leader of "Jiuyan". In the drama, Jung Woo will portray a version of the mafia that differs from people's imaginations, filled with betrayal, cunning, deception, and a depraved human ensemble driven by survival and livelihood, rather than the typical image of charm and loyalty. "Hot Blood" is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Kim Yan-soo, which won the 22nd Han Bok-sook Literary Award. It will be directed by Choi Myung-kwan, the original author of the novel "The Aging Family", marking his directorial debut.
