Synopsis

On what seems like an ordinary day, nurse Anna (played by Sarah Polley) is preparing to share a happy weekend with her husband Louis (played by Justin Louis), unaware of the terrifying and deadly plague that is spreading rampantly. Those infected by the plague lose their humanity and turn into ruthless, bloodthirsty living dead. Anna's husband and daughter Vivian (played by Hannah Lochner) are both victims, but she manages to escape from her home, only to discover that the entire city has turned into a realm of the undead, with few survivors left, and the world before her has become a hell on earth. At this time, the plague has spread globally, and countries have fallen into a state of paralysis.Anna drives in a desperate escape and eventually takes refuge in a shopping mall with police officer Kenneth (played by Ving Rhames) and several other survivors. However, this is not a long-term safe haven, as the living dead are closing in, and the danger of them breaking in is ever-present. Anna and the others must unite and find a way to survive...
