 Synopsis
The piano teacher, Ruixi (played by Erika Sawajiri), who lives alone, once had a happy and carefree life. However, everything changed after her husband, Yusuke Yabunouchi (played by Tadanobu Asano), disappeared three years ago. One evening, while preparing food, Ruixi suddenly sees Yusuke walking in from outside. What he says next shocks her: it turns out her husband, who had worked as a dentist three years ago, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He left home quietly to find a peaceful place to die. A certain obsession has driven him to appear in the living world, and after three years of wandering, he has returned home. At Yusuke's suggestion, the skeptical Ruixi embarks on a journey to retrace their steps over the past three years. Along the way, they meet people who once took care of Yusuke, and deep-seated secrets between the couple come to light. They finally find themselves able to face each other honestly...
