The material for "4:48 Psychosis" is the last play by British playwright Sarah Kane, which tells the story of a writer undergoing treatment for depression in a sanatorium, who realizes she wakes up every day at 4:48 AM, symbolizing 'the darkest hour before dawn.' After completing the script, Kane, who was only 28 years old, committed suicide by hanging in a psychiatric hospital.
