 Synopsis
This film is a television movie starring Campbell Scott and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The plot structure is somewhat similar to the sensational hit 'Déjà Vu' from many years ago, and it is a very delicately crafted and touching time-travel love story. The story describes young Scotty Corrigan who accidentally discovers a love letter written over a hundred years ago inside an antique desk. He is deeply moved by the feelings conveyed in the letter and develops a subtle affection for the woman who wrote it. Ignoring the upcoming wedding in his real life, he responds to the love letter using ink and stamps from over a hundred years ago, which unexpectedly leads to a relationship across generations. This film won the Best Television Writer award from the American Writers Guild, and director Dan Curtis adeptly handles the romantic and enchanting atmosphere.
