“Where does this feeling of wanting to cheer for others come from?” At Eagle Saki High School, a prestigious institution preparing to defend its title at the national cheerleading competition, Mikumo Kanata from the cheerleading club had won a national championship during middle school and became a member of the main team in her first year of high school. However, after a mistake in the competition, she found herself unable to jump again. One day, Kanata saw a high school girl, Koyume Ryoha, performing parkour by leaping between buildings at high speed. Along with them are other members: the artistic gymnastics heiress, Shion; Anzu, a mixed-race girl returning from Brazil; her classmate, the yoga philosophy girl, Yuka; and Kanata's former teammate, Keima, who sits in a wheelchair. These six high school girls, each with different interests, strengths, and personalities, sometimes sing together, sometimes clash, sometimes perform skits, and sometimes let their imaginations run wild... When the pure desire to cheer for others resonates, the cheer of “Pom-pom!” transcends the realm of cheerleading and directly reaches people's hearts. Could the cheers of the six high school girls from Gunma change the world?
