 Synopsis
Angela (played by Yip Chian-wen) travels from Canada to Hong Kong to conduct field research for her thesis on 'Chinese Superstitions.' Upon arriving, she encounters the 'lecherous' cop Chow Fat (played by Chow Yun-fat), but fortunately, he does not pursue her further. To find a cheap place to stay, Angela meets the smooth-talking car dealer Hansom Wong (played by Wong Baoming). Hansom's intentions are more dubious, as he becomes infatuated with her and uses the pretext of helping her understand superstition culture to pursue her relentlessly.Although Angela's rented room is cheap, it turns out to be a haunted house, where a pop star committed suicide due to a love triangle, leaving her vengeful spirit lingering in the room. Hansom Wong gets tormented by the female ghost in the haunted house, and Chow, concerned about Angela, gets drawn into the mess. Both men urge Angela to move out, but she remains unaffected by the ghost's presence and stubbornly stays in the haunted house, ultimately becoming possessed by the female ghost. To rescue Angela, the car dealer and the cop enlist a master to help confront the ghost in a series of battles...
