Pan (played by Yang Panpan) and Li (played by Li Saifeng), two senior police officers, share a deep bond and regard Li's father, San Chai Feng, as family. They cooperate to investigate a criminal gang, but during a chaotic shootout between the police and criminals, although they succeed in killing several gang members, they inadvertently expose the identity of an undercover officer. This incident draws the attention of the gang's leader, who sends assassins Fei and Wei to eliminate the undercover agent.Fei attempts to kill the undercover officer but fails during a shootout with Li, resulting in his death at Li's hands. After learning this news, Wei decides to avenge Fei. He kidnaps Li's sister Anna, forcing Li and San Chai Feng to rescue her. However, during this rescue mission, San Chai Feng and Anna tragically end up killed by Wei, and Li cannot escape the same fate as she is ultimately attacked by Wei in the hospital. Pan witnesses his friend paying such a heavy price for justice, feeling deep sadness and anger. He vows to find Wei and settle it in a fight to the death. After an intense battle, Pan ultimately succeeds in killing Wei, avenging Li's family.
