In Japan, during the shogunate era, a wandering blind musician (played by Haruka Ayase) is taken in by a man with ulterior motives during a heavy snowfall, but she swiftly stabs him with a sword. It turns out that she possesses extraordinary swordsmanship skills and is wandering in search of a male blind swordsman. Along the way, she meets a seemingly timid, down-and-out swordsman named Jumaru (played by Takashi Osawa), and they travel together to a town. There, a gang called the Wan-Ghost Alliance causes trouble, and she easily kills a few of the villains, but Jumaru is mistakenly seen as a hero by the locals and is hired as a bodyguard. The Wan-Ghost Alliance seeks revenge, and the small town faces an impending bloodbath. Not only must they save everyone's lives, but they also learn about the swordsman they have been searching for from the Wan-Ghost Alliance.
