In the American West of 1873, Jack Logan (played by Daniel Craig) suddenly wakes up to find himself in the desert. He has no idea how he ended up there and only possesses a mysterious metallic device on his wrist. To regain his lost memory, Jack returns to town. However, he discovers that the residents of the town are not very friendly toward him, and in order to stay in the town, he must gain the approval of Woodrow (played by Harrison Ford), a pioneer of the town. But then, the most terrifying event occurs: several strange alien spaceships suddenly appear and begin abducting many people from the town. At this moment, Jack accidentally activates the metallic device on his wrist, shooting down one of the alien ships and recovering some of his memory. In order to rescue the abducted individuals and uncover the intentions of the unknown alien ships, the townspeople unite under Jack and Woodrow's leadership, heading towards the direction in which the alien ships flew to seek answers.
