Xilian (played by Lim Jeong-ya)'s son Junseok went missing in Seoul. Heartbroken, she took her amnesiac mother-in-law back to her hometown in Changshan to recuperate, hoping her mother-in-law would remember how Junseok disappeared. One day, Xilian encountered a tattered, mysterious girl in a cave near Changshan. Perhaps out of sympathy or perhaps due to her own emptiness and loneliness, Xilian brought the girl home, intending to care for her until she could find the girl's parents. The two grew increasingly close, and gradually the girl began to seem like Xilian's daughter; she called Xilian 'Mom' and referred to herself as 'Junhee', resembling the missing 'Junseok' more and more in appearance and voice. After the arrival of the mysterious girl, a series of incomprehensible strange events began to occur, starting with Xilian’s mother-in-law experiencing auditory hallucinations, followed by being kidnapped by a legendary creature said to inhabit the caves of Changshan... Will Xilian be able to find her son Junseok? Can the shattered family reunite once again in the shadow of the monster?
