One of the selected Danish erotic films, sometimes you accidentally discover interesting experiences in unfamiliar corners like old soft eroticism. Sometimes not. But the economy is reassuring and exaggerated, overly self-indulgent, and its depth is only referenced through other films and life. Except here, the economy is a film’s incompetence, but does it really matter? The tone is that of a voyeur, not a solitary dark meditation on the humorous light of soul colors. But for me, these are all the same. In both cases, it all depends on the female star. There are some things you can't invent, and the seductive distance is one of them. Deneuve is a good actress, indeed someone who understands the various distractions of her directors' plans. But she just cannot carry the film.
