Gong Zelu (Manolo Cardona) loves painting and has no interest in managing the family factory. He is inherently free-spirited and does not like being bound. His brother Inalio (Christian Maier) runs the factory left by their father by himself and has some criticism of his brother's indifferent attitude. Inalio's beautiful wife Zoe (Barbara Murry) cannot stand his rigidity and neglect, and gradually becomes attracted to Gong Zelu's personality and talent, leading to an affair between them. Zoe's gay best friend Boris encourages her actions. Inalio and his wife are unable to have children, but one day Zoe discovers that she is pregnant.
