In the bustling metropolis of New York, there is a club called Short Bus, where young men and women indulge in the pleasure that each other's bodies provide. Sook-Yin Lee plays Sofia, an Asian sexual clinical expert who, despite her blissful marriage with her husband Rob, has never experienced an orgasm, leaving her deeply troubled; James, played by Paul Dawson, and Jamie, played by PJ DeBoy, are a gay couple whose mundane life makes James crave novelty and excitement, during which voyeur Cal (Peter Stickles) intervenes... This film won the Audience Award at the 2006 Athens International Film Festival; Best Art Direction and Best Screenplay at the 2006 Gijón International Film Festival in Spain; Best Feature at the 2006 Zurich Film Festival; and Best Feature at the 2007 Independent Spirit Awards.
