Hannah's parents took her to a new school, claiming it was to give her a fresh start. However, Hannah, 11 years old and autistic, is unable to speak due to her condition. She has a twin named Angel, but when Angel passed away, their abusive parents forbade Hannah from grieving, punishing her when she sought comfort in her sister's things. Now, Hannah lives in desperate silence, fearing that this life may soon end at her parents' hands. However, when a knife keeps appearing under her pillow, and a voice she believes is in her head won't let her go, Hannah begins to realize that maybe she has an ally from another world, but fear paralyzes her. Could it be Angel, seeking justice from 'the other side' for all the abuse she has suffered? Can Hannah overcome her fear and let her in?
