 Synopsis
Elizabeth (played by Kim Basinger) works at an art exhibition hall. She has recently divorced her husband, who continues to harass her, leaving her feeling both fearful and hopeful about love. Wall Street broker John (played by Mickey Rourke) passionately pursues her, which intimidates Elizabeth but also brings a fresh excitement. However, John's expertly skilled seduction ultimately leads Elizabeth to fall for him, as they sink into a tumultuous love affair. This is not a calm and simple romance. As they linger in their desire, John acts in ways that are difficult for Elizabeth to accept. In a fit of anger, Elizabeth once left, but she couldn’t escape John's persistent pleas. The repetitive entanglements and separations cause Elizabeth’s emotions to deepen, and even John’s abusive behavior towards her becomes an addiction. Meanwhile, the outside world is filled with sunshine, and the people come and go, living calm and normal lives, but Elizabeth’s eyes are filled with tears, and this time she really decides to leave.
