This film is based on an unbelievable true event. Federal agent Tim Ballard (played by Jim Caviezel) learns that after rescuing a young boy from the cruel crime of child trafficking, the boy's sister has also been abducted. He decides to take the risk to go and rescue her, but the government cannot deploy forces to aid him in another country. With time running out, Tim quits his job and ventures deep into the jungles of Colombia, determined to save the girl from a fate worse than death.
