Intro： Wolf WarriorIn 1940, Wu Zhongyi, the independent battalion commander of the anti-Japanese base at Baodu Mountain in Lunan, was urgently appointed to form a combat team code-named 'Wolf Warriors' to protect the new base and engage in a life-and-death struggle with the Japanese invaders. Wu Zhongyi and the National Army's company commander Lu Xiuwen were childhood friends and also romantic rivals. Many years ago, both Wu Zhongyi and Lu Xiuwen fell in love with a girl named Sun Mei, but Sun Mei’s father arranged her marriage to Lu Xiuwen. However, Sun Mei left her hometown with Wu Zhongyi to join the revolution. Lu Xiuwen harbored resentment against Wu Zhongyi, leading to constant conflicts between them. During one battle, Wu Zhongyi timely rescued the critically wounded National Army company commander Lu Xiuwen. Despite their ongoing conflicts, they appreciated each other’s outstanding military qualities as they fought together against the Japanese. During the battle, the 'Wolf Warriors' team continued to grow and successfully rescued a group of wounded soldiers captured by the Japanese army. Wu Zhongyi's noble character deeply impacted Lu Xiuwen. As the Japanese army aimed to encircle the base, Wu Zhongyi and Lu Xiuwen stood side by side to lead their soldiers in a final deadly struggle against the Japanese.
