Young girl Ma Yufeng (played by Ma Sicheng) is sentenced to six months in prison for drug possession. Her boyfriend Robert instructs her to find the woman who killed his older brother, Winnie, in prison, so he can seek revenge for his brother. Yufeng, who is in prison for the first time, begins her life known as the "First Cocoon." In her cell, the female inmate "Man Woman" bullies the newcomers. When Yufeng is attacked by Man Woman, she is saved by the infamous "Crazy Sister" (played by Wu Jiali). From then on, Yufeng becomes friends with Crazy Sister and the optimistic, talkative pregnant woman (played by Lin Jianming). It turns out that Crazy Sister is actually Winnie. Winnie, burdened by her drug-addicted father, has to survive in the entertainment industry and becomes addicted to drugs herself out of boredom. By chance, Winnie meets undercover cop Ah Yong (played by Liu Dehua), and they fall in love. Ah Yong remains devoted to Winnie despite her drug addiction and plans to live with her in Canada. However, his identity is exposed, leading to Winnie killing Robert's older brother...
