The film tells the story of a landslide in a small town in the east of a country caused by climate change, where an ancient bacterium begins to revive. Nurse Su Ping and her husband Lin Dong are part of a local tour that gets buried in the ruins along with many others. While saving her husband, Su Ping also protects children, going through crises caused by a shortage of medicine and food, as well as tests of human nature, ultimately overcoming the crisis.
