Scott Miller (played by Nic Rhind) was once wild and unrestrained during his college years, just like many young people, which led him to face consequences. During this time, his girlfriend Jesse (played by Robyn Ledoux) from his hometown of Shambhala, Washington, was forced by her parents to break up with Miller. Two years later, when many things have changed, Miller and Jesse meet again, only to lament that they are destined to be apart. At this point, Miller has a new girlfriend, Lydia (played by Marina Pasqua). She is a frivolous and promiscuous woman who parties at the Shark Club, ultimately meeting a tragic death in a bathroom. Miller, who coincidentally witnesses this scene, is then pursued as the murder suspect.
