The muscular John Brickner (played by Steve Austin) is sentenced to prison for murder. After serving his time, he finds two part-time jobs at a construction site and a bar, living a stable if not affluent life. However, a man who makes his living with his body and fists is destined for an extraordinary life. The wife of the man he killed, Veronica (played by Lynda Boyd), comes to him asking for help to treat her daughter. To earn some money, John accepts an invitation from a black market fight promoter, Reno (played by Walton Goggins), and his girlfriend, Frankie (played by Laura Vandervoort), entering a world of underground fighting filled with blood and violence. In this fighting world with almost no rules, John uses his iron fists to defeat numerous tough opponents, but this is undoubtedly a perilous path...
