Rich heir He Tao (played by Liu Jiahui) has practiced martial arts since childhood. Recently, his father has pressured him to marry his betrothed, who has returned from Japan. Reluctantly, He Tao agrees after witnessing the beauty of his wife, Gong Zi (played by Mizuno Yuka). However, Gong Zi practices Japanese martial arts, leading to rumors in the household about 'He Tao beating his wife.' He Tao tries to teach Gong Zi a more refined Chinese martial art, but she, proud of her Japanese culture, refuses. Their disputes escalate into a physical confrontation, and unable to cope, Gong Zi, in frustration, returns to Japan to study under ninja master Wu Ye Sanzang (played by Kurata Yasuaki). He Tao then issues a challenge to his wife, which is seen by Wu Ye Sanzang, who is also interested in Gong Zi. To demonstrate his strength and defend the honor of Japanese martial arts, Wu Ye gathers various martial arts masters to challenge He Tao in China.
