The play tells the story of Xavier, a strange-looking wanderer/explorer resembling a satyr (with snake-like hands, backward knees, a beak, and six nipples). In search of his mysterious origins, he traverses this land. Along the way, Xavier encounters various people, who are tormented by his narcissistic life experiences and "breathtaking" abilities, and even meets some rural folks who are not too fond of his appearance. He speaks in a deep, raspy voice, akin to a movie trailer, which further accentuates his narcissistic ramblings. Although Xavier has a sense of morality and a kind heart, he likes to create chaos wherever he goes; he tries to help those he meets, but his utter incompetence unintentionally makes things worse. In the pilot episode, we see through flashbacks how he burned down his house during a spiritual ritual in his teenage years. The fire took the lives of his adoptive parents, yet he is completely unaware that it was his fault and remains free to this day... Author: Jack Reed.
