This is the second installment of the "Evil" trilogy by Gui Zhi Hong. Yu Nan (Yilei) has a gambling addiction and has been losing consistently in recent games. One day, when he has nothing left to bet, he refuses to quit and ends up in a situation where he has to rely on his wife (Liang Zhenni) to pay off his debts with her body. To ensure his wife helps him settle his debts unknowingly, he uses the excuse of their 5th wedding anniversary to sweet-talk her and then gets her drunk with fine wine, taking her to a couple's hotel. When they turn off the lights to enjoy a romantic moment, he quietly gets out of bed to have the creditor (Zhan Sen) take his place, only to be discovered by his wife. His wife kicks the creditor in the genitals and then kicks Yu Nan out of the house. Enraged, the creditor vows to get back at Yu Nan. Desperate, Yu Nan thinks of suicide but only ends up repeatedly causing trouble and being sent to the police station. At a moment when he wishes he were dead, he stumbles upon a bag containing several pearl necklaces and a spirit tablet, bringing him great joy. However, shortly after, an old man visits him, claiming the bag is his and that if Yu Nan wants the treasures inside, he must marry the old man's deceased daughter (Bei Ruhu), represented by the spirit tablet. At first, Yu Nan finds this absurd, but unable to resist the temptation of a villa offered by the old man, he agrees to this strange marriage. Following this, a series of absurd events unfold.
