The last time we saw Clark Kent, he was pierced in the chest by a blue kryptonite crystal and fell from a tall building. Of course, Clark can't die! Otherwise, where would the 'future' Superman come from? 'Daddy Kent' will make an appearance this season, and Supergirl (sorry, not that 'Supergirl') will too. However, Supergirl might have to kill Lois. Chloe will only have five episodes this season — after that, Allison Mack will leave the show. But that’s okay, the 10th season was originally the last season of the show. The series is finally concluding! Although the show did not break the record for 'longest-running sci-fi series in America' set by Stargate SG-1, it equals the record. Ironically, just as the crew announced Chloe's departure, the comic book publisher announced that this original character from 'Smallville' would officially be included in the Superman canon, making it a 'legitimate' Superman character. In the season premiere, Lois finds the unconscious Clark and pulls the blue kryptonite crystal from his chest, after which Clark begins to self-heal. However, before Clark wakes up, Lois sneaks away. In search of Oliver, Chloe has to ask some people she normally wouldn’t. Jonathan returns to the Kent farm to bring Clark some news. Tess wakes up in a LuthorCorp lab.
