Ah Sen (played by Ekin Cheng) and Xiao Lan (played by Zhou Xun) have been in love for 8 years, but the only method they use to maintain their relationship is through two words - break up. Whenever Xiao Lan threatens to break up, Ah Sen becomes a submissive partner begging for reconciliation, making Xiao Lan push her boundaries even more. After 99 breakups, they finally realize their love for each other, promising that they will not easily break up again, and are determined to work hard together for the future, aiming to become their own bosses and run a coffee shop together. Their group of friends, including the wealthy girl Sui Ge (played by Wang Wan Zhi), Ah Sen's elementary school classmate Fei Yun (played by He Hao Peng), and the four Boy employees of the coffee shop (C & All Star), not only witness the growth of the coffee shop but also see how running it impacts Ah Sen and Xiao Lan's relationship. Most notably, when the previously ordinary coffee shop becomes famous due to Ah Sen's whimsical idea - 'Breakup Mini Warehouse', a place where love exhibitionists can store their breakup relics for the world to peep at - Ah Sen starts to take things more seriously and becomes more mature, having clearer thoughts about the future. The success of the coffee shop changes the distance between Ah Sen and Xiao Lan.
