In the late Qing Dynasty, with foreign invasions, the empire was on the brink of collapse. The chief eunuch of the inner court, Eunuch Cheng (played by Chen Huimin), took advantage of the chaos in the palace to secretly sell national treasures to foreigners. One day, the wealthy young master Long (played by Jackie Chan) from Longshan Town, who is skilled in martial arts, accidentally stumbled upon a treasure-laden place while out with friends. The guards, surprised by the astonished young master, started chasing him. Fortunately, the local Wang Yuanwai secretly came to his aid, allowing Long to escape harm. It turns out this place is where Eunuch Cheng secretly hoards national treasures, filled with traps. At the same time, the deputy chief, Yu Hai, who has always opposed Eunuch Cheng's actions, took advantage of the chaos to steal some national treasures. Eunuch Cheng became furious upon learning this and sent people to kill Yu Hai. Young Master Long drew his sword to help, which brought disaster upon Wang Yuanwai as well. Infuriated, Young Master Long decided to confront Eunuch Cheng, the cunning traitor.
