The story takes place in the 1930s, during a time when the iron hoof of Japanese imperialism echoed through the nations of East Asia, amidst a turbulent era filled with legendary episodes. In China, Ryu Mu-jin (played by Lee Jung-jae), a captain of the Korean provisional government's secret police, frees the death-sentenced sniper An Woo-yun (played by Jeon Ji-hyun) from prison. He then recruits demolition expert Hwang Deok-sam (played by Choi Deok-won) and 'Rapid-Fire Cannon' graduate from the new military academy, Choi Sang-wok (played by Jo Jin-woong), commissioning them to assassinate the commander of the Korean occupying forces and the traitors in their own country. The dangerous operation begins, but the Japanese soon receive intelligence about the assassination mission. In a turbulent and chaotic atmosphere of deep conspiracy, tense and thrilling confrontations unfold, representing a perilous duel concerning the fate of a nation... This film won the Best Film Award at the 36th Korean Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2015.
