Banning (played by Gerard Butler) is an agent of the American Secret Service who has recently received an important task: to team up with Director Lynn (played by Angela Bassett) to escort President Benjamin (played by Aaron Eckhart) to St. Paul's Cathedral in London to attend the funeral of the British Prime Minister. The British Prime Minister's death is suspicious, and Banning and Lynn know that their itinerary is under close scrutiny by criminals. Meanwhile, leaders from various countries are present at the funeral, making the bustling and beautiful city of London the center of global attention. As expected, assassins lurk in the shadows waiting for their opportunity, national leaders repeatedly fall under ambush, and London's landmark buildings also become targets, plunging the entire city into chaos and paralysis. For Banning, the most crucial task is to escort the President back to the homeland.
