A mysterious and evil virus has attacked a military base deep in the jungle, causing infected humans to become delirious and bloodthirsty, leading to a massacre and bloodshed throughout the jungle. Paramedic Sonia (played by Hélène de Fougerolles) and her boyfriend Mark (played by Francis Renaud) rescue an injured person, but the strange symptoms appearing on the victim fill them with terror. A female soldier who leaves with them insists on abandoning the injured person, leading to a conflict with Sonia and Mark.
