When you grow old, do you still have the qualifications and courage to love? The film tells the story of Anne and Jean-Louis, former lovers who reunite after 50 years. Jean-Louis, now nearing his nineties, suffers from Alzheimer's disease, and does not recognize his children, nor does he remember what happened yesterday, but the only thing he keeps in his heart is Anne, whom he loved deeply and missed. In hopes of improving his father's condition, Jean-Louis' son seeks out Anne, hoping she would visit his father. Unexpectedly, this meeting after 50 years causes the two to fall in love again, and Anne accompanies Jean-Louis on a series of dream-like escapes...
