 Synopsis
As a university lecturer, Liu Zhen (played by Lee Young-na) seems to be thriving on the surface, but she has always been troubled by the painful experience of being raped by her cousin in her childhood. Therefore, she is very dissatisfied with her mother's non-confrontational approach. She does not believe in love or fate, and she has attempted suicide three times. Although she is extremely reluctant, she ends up in a labor education camp at her aunt's arrangement. There, she meets Yun-soo (played by Kang Dong-won), who has been sentenced to death for murder. Both share the fate of being abandoned by their mothers and feel the despair of life, leading them to quickly drop their guard and progress from knowing each other to falling in love, warming and comforting each other's hearts. But just as their love intensifies, Yun-soo's sentence is approaching...
