After resigning as a middle school teacher due to her husband's transfer, Yoshida Toko became a full-time housewife. One day, she encounters her former student, Katagiri Wataru, who has grown from a timid junior high school student into a diligent high school student. During the summer vacation, Toko is assigned as a tutor for Wataru. It's been a long time since she last worked.
