Synopsis

Inside the solemn palace, twelve imperial secret agents named after the Chinese zodiac bear the heavy responsibility of closely protecting the Emperor. Among them is Gao Tianjiu, nicknamed 'Ling Ling Dog' (played by Louis Koo), an inventive genius full of bizarre ideas. He achieves remarkable success in protecting the Emperor using various 'magical tools,' but he remains surprisingly dull when it comes to his beautiful and highly skilled fiancée, Mei Xiwang (played by Barbie Hsu), who has feelings for him. To help this 'Ling Ling Dog' gain some insight, Mei Xiwang devises a test to challenge him.In the depths of the palace, it's difficult to distinguish loyalty from treachery, and hidden dangers lurk. Various forces are complicity in the selection of a suitable husband for the princess, attempting to seize power and eliminate the imperial secret agents led by 'Ling Ling Dog,' threatening the Emperor's safety and placing the twelve secret agents in unprecedented jeopardy.
