Synopsis

The small worker Lin Shouyi (played by Li Xiuxian), who spends his days drunk and in a daze, was once an excellent and capable royal policeman. However, he was suspended and investigated after beating a suspect while drunk, and his estranged wife Judy took the opportunity to divorce him. Years later, detective Cheng Xi (played by Liang Jiahui) from the major crimes unit and his assistant Tienan find Lin with the boy Xiaonian. It turns out Lin's ex-wife was recently murdered in a home invasion, and only their son Xiaonian survived. After spending some time together, the father and son go from estranged to close, and Lin decides to find the killer of his ex-wife.
