 Synopsis
On the mainland, the young Zou Songxing (played by Stephen Chow) moves to Hong Kong to seek refuge with his uncle (played by Ng Man-tat). After discovering Zou's unique gambling abilities, his uncle, a gambling addict, believes he has found a golden opportunity to get rich, and starts to take him to major casinos, encouraging him to look up to the God of Gamblers as an idol, to further develop his gambling skills and become the new gambling master. The rising star Zou Songxing catches the attention of Taiwanese gambling king Chen Song and Hong Kong gambling king Hong Guang (played by Qin Pei), both of whom wish to recruit Zou Songxing to represent them at the World Gambling King Competition. After Chen Song successfully wins Zou over, Hong Guang sends a beautiful woman named Qi Meng (played by Zhang Min) to dazzle Zou Songxing. When the final round of the competition arrives, Qi Meng disappears, hoping to distract Zou and facilitate the surrender of the gambling throne.
