Fat Ding (Sammo Hung), who works at a jewelry trading company, is often bullied by his boss's wife, Mrs. Zhou (Leung Shan), and her brother (Chiu Ching), because he is overweight and honest. He has to take on all the heavy and dirty work, and if he makes even a small mistake, he gets scolded harshly. One day, while he and his colleague A B (Gigi Leung) from the shipping department are delivering diamonds to a sheikh in the Middle East as instructed by their boss, they are robbed on their way to the bank to deposit the money. Without investigating, Mrs. Zhou and her brother falsely accuse them of being accomplices with the robbers. Angered more by the situation, Fat Ding decides to kidnap Mrs. Zhou to release his long-suppressed frustration. At the time he prepares to take action, Mrs. Zhou’s daughter Zuer (Joey Wong), who has just returned from the United States, is having a heated argument with her stepmother, resulting in a mix-up where Zuer gets kidnapped instead, and then A B also brings her home. Under pressure from A B, Fat Ding helplessly demands a ransom from the Zhou family, leading to a series of comical events.
