 Synopsis
Jianghu sorcerer Maoshan Ming (played by Wu Yao Han) is not very skilled in magic, but he constantly comes up with clever tricks to deceive people along with his accomplices, Da Bao (played by Lui Fang) and Xiao Bao, often to get free food and drink. While trying to exorcise a ghost for the wealthy Tan Million, they encounter a fierce ghost and flee overnight. Late at night, Maoshan Ming stumbles into a village of silence, which is currently under siege by evil marauders and heavily guarded. Maoshan Ming is mistaken for a marauder and captured by the security team leader (played by Lau Nam Kwong), but fortunately, Daoist master Jiu Shu (played by Lam Ching Ying) arrives just in time to rescue him. At this moment, the marauders attack, and after a fierce battle, the villagers successfully fend them off. Due to a dispute, Da Bao and Xiao Bao are taken away by Jiu Shu. From this point on, Maoshan Ming realizes the truth about the separation between humans and ghosts, deciding to part ways with the two spirits. However, Da Bao is soon captured by a marauder skilled in magic...
