Family Hot Pot

With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, theaters and gyms closed, and restaurants had no dinner service; many workers were 'forced to go no-pay', but Coba (played by Lui Cheuk On) surprisingly discovered a business opportunity! Originally a music festival organizer, Coba was forced to work from home due to the pandemic, spending every day in a standoff with his family; his taxi-driver father Alan (played by Cheng Chung Kei) had no work and spent his days aimlessly chatting and arguing, while his mother Rita (played by Leung Wing Kei) worked day and night making chili sauce, with noise more bothersome than Tang Seng chanting scriptures! Until one time, after hearing a friend rave about how delicious his mother's handmade chili sauce was, Coba had a brilliant idea and persuaded his parents to make and sell chili sauce on an online platform to 'become their own bosses'! However, as the pandemic continued and eating at home became the new normal, their chili sauce business grew increasingly busy, and Coba's family found themselves overwhelmed. Even his dancing group aunt Wendy (played by Ng Kun Yu) immediately joined to help make chili sauce after completing her quarantine!
