The Huang family is a lineage of police officers. Huang Erniu and his son, along with four daughters, all served in the police force. Although their father Huang Erniu died in the line of duty, the remaining children continued to serve the Royal Hong Kong Police under the leadership of their grandmother, Madame Huang. Their daughter-in-law, Gao Liping (played by Gao Lihong), is also a senior police officer. Due to various factors related to work and personal feelings, the Huang daughters often express discontent towards Gao, making her feel wronged. Gao's husband, their son Hui (played by Leung Ka-fai), also finds himself caught in the middle. However, Madame Huang is very fond of Gao and hopes she can help the Huang family carry on their legacy. The police received information that a gang of Vietnamese men was planning to rob the Morrow Night Club, and they set up a trap with the Huang couple as commanders. Due to a moment of impulsiveness from their eldest daughter Huang Jialing (played by Liu Jialing), the operation failed, leading Jialing to mistakenly believe that Gao had her suspended, further intensifying the conflict between them. Unexpectedly, the Vietnamese gang escalated their actions and killed the eldest member of the Huang family...
