During the Northern Song Dynasty, the Liao army, led by Yelü Yuan (played by Shao Bing), launched a large-scale invasion of the Central Plains. The current emperor ordered two key officials, Yang Ye (played by Zheng Shaoqiu) and Pan Renmei (played by Liang Jiaru), to lead troops against the Liao. Unexpectedly, Pan Renmei took advantage of the situation and withdrew his troops during the battle at Jinsha Beach, causing Yang Ye to fall into a desperate situation, trapped in the two Wolf Mountains. There are seven sons in the Yang family, namely: Yanping (played by Zheng Yijian), Yanding (played by Yu Bo), Yangguang (played by Zhou Yumin), Yanhui (played by Li Chen), Yande (played by Lin Feng), Yanzhao (played by Wu Zun), and Yansi (played by Fu Xinbo).
