Alice (Kristanna Loken) is a famous bestselling author’s ghostwriter. She has completed half of her new book, but she is unable to continue writing. A year ago, she experienced a terrible accident in Malta while staying at her husband Max's (Antonio Cupo) villa, falling into a coma for two weeks. Upon waking up, she lost part of her memory and cannot remember the accident or her stay in Malta. Since then, she has been suffering from depression and frequently experiences mysterious nightmares. Max, who is also her agent, urges her to return to Malta, hoping something there will help her relax so she can get back to work and finish her manuscript before the publisher's deadline. In the beautiful villa surrounded by lemon trees, they are welcomed by a beautiful Mediterranean girl named Sara (Sarai Givaty), whom Max hired to help with the housework. The girl quickly establishes a friendship and trust with Alice. Two distinct women: one sexy and confident, the other mysterious and insecure... Meanwhile, another stranger, Castlano (Giulio Berruti), is lurking around the villa, watching Sara, talking to Alice, and exchanging items with the local police. Are our characters really what we think they are? Is there another version of the truth? Everything will soon be revealed...
